On the contrary, I loved my Gold Extra Sweet pineapple so much that I have grown and new plant from the top. The fruit that it produced is superb! Super sweet and delicious. It needs to ripen fully to get that super sweet flavor
Just bought some, tried it, 50% bland taste, just not any sweetness, or ‘extra sweet’ at all. And just got back from Hawaii yesterday, the pineapples there are sweet. Will never buy these again, waste of time and money. Oh well, tried it.
